Broadridge Financial Solutions today announced that a leading Canadian bank has started a multi-year initiative to use Broadridge Canada’s Smart Fund Facts solution for the automated creation of regulatory point of sale (POS) fund facts documents.

Donna Bristow, vice president, client management and strategic product development, Broadridge, Canada, commented, “The decision by this major Canadian institution to use Broadridge for this solution was a very easy one, given our expertise and many years of experience in the area of automated, data driven solutions. The flexibility of Broadridge’s Smart Fund Facts offering created very little disruption to the customer’s current processes, allowing them to get up and running very rapidly and very smoothly.”

The Smart Fund Facts solution will create Fund Facts documents for mutual funds through an automated document creation process. Based on industry and/or fund specific data, customised templates will be utilised to create black lined and final version documents suitable for print, web viewing and e-delivery, in a fraction of the time it would take using conventional processes. In addition to creating the documents, Smart Fund Facts will be integrated into Broadridge’s Smart Prospectus service, which will then provide an end to end fulfillment solution. This same process will also be extended to cover MRFPs (Management Report of Fund Performance), Financial Statements, and Marketing document requirements.
