Capital markets data and analytics provider BMLL has appointed Michael Chiappinelli as Chief Revenue Officer. Based in the United States, Chiappinelli will lead the company’s international commercial strategy and global sales function, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Paul Humphrey as part of the executive management team. His appointment follows the company’s acquisition by Nordic Capital in October 2025.

Chiappinelli brings more than 25 years of institutional sales leadership experience across financial market data, advanced analytics, algorithmic trading technology, and enterprise SaaS. He has previously held senior roles at companies including Similarweb, SESAMm, Acuris, Cowen, and Refinitiv, working across both private equity-backed growth firms and established global financial information providers.

In his new role, Chiappinelli will focus on scaling BMLL’s global footprint and capitalising on institutional market demand for harmonised, multi-asset historical data. His background will support the company’s strategy to help hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and private equity firms integrate advanced data and analytics into their trading and research workflows.
