A graduate of ESC Nantes/Audencia, 33 years, Thomas Vlieghe’s first position in 2003 was at AGF
Asset Management where he worked as an assistant equity fund manager. In 2004, he joined Bryan,
Garnier & Co as a broker on European stocks. He then moved to Allianz Global Investors in 2005
where he spent 6 years as a balanced portfolio manager of open-funds and dedicated mandates for
institutional, corporate and pension fund accounts.

Thomas Vlieghe will join the asset allocation team run by Françoise Rochette which comprises 8 fund
managers. His appointment is part of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management’s drive to reinforce
the asset allocation team to meet growing assets under management. These totalled EUR 2.7bn at
the end of April 2011.
