Quantifi, a provider of analytics, trading and risk management solutions for the global capital markets, today announced that OFI Asset Management has selected Quantifi XL for the pricing and analysis of their structured products and distressed market portfolios.

OFI is one of Europe’s leading asset management firms, with deep experience in structured products and distressed markets. OFI has over €22 billion of assets under management and employs 250 people, of whom 110 are investment professionals committed to portfolio management.

OFI was seeking a powerful yet intuitive front-office application that would allow them to deliver meaningful pricing, structuring and sensitivity analysis, and Quantifi was the obvious choice. Ease of use, transparency, speed, sophistication and excellent support were all factors in the decision.

Guillaume Launay, head of Structured Credit at OFI, said, “Quantifi analytics are particularly powerful and flexible, and we highly value the robust functionality, which has empowered us to streamline the pricing and analysis of our structured credit portfolio. Quantifi XL is now considered to be an integral component within our structured credit business and has allowed us to enhance the manner in which we monitor and control our risk.”

Rohan Douglas, CEO of Quantifi, comments “Acquiring OFI Asset Management as a client adds to the diversity of our expanding client base. We have been extremely successful in adding clients across Europe in the asset management sector, and I am delighted that we have the opportunity to work closely with one of the leading asset management firms in France. Given OFI’s access to many sell-side analytic tools, it is particularly rewarding to have Quantifi analytics used by their front office.”

Quantifi XL is an extensive suite of add-in functions for Excel. By utilizing advanced numerical methods, Quantifi XL can be deployed swiftly and achieves fast pricing – providing financial institutions with access to sophisticated pricing and risk analysis of credit products from within Excel.
