MoneyMate, a specialist provider of investment data quality management solutions, today announced the release of several major enhancements to their flagship platform, DataManager, and the rebranding of the platform as Fund ProductMaster. Fund ProductMaster offers several enhancements via a cloud platform that enables global asset managers to oversee and control the quality, accuracy and timeliness of their client-facing product data.

MoneyMate rebranded DataManager as Fund ProductMaster in reflection of the product’s core value proposition to leading asset management firms such as J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Schroders and M&G Investments. These firms utilize MoneyMate to centralize and validate investment product data – giving them real-time, easy and transparent access to accurate data, which can be used for websites, fact sheets, client reports and sales and marketing collateral. Fund ProductMaster enables sales and distribution arms of large global asset managers to enhance their client service and support and improve efficiency in the sales process by delivering better quality information about their funds to their clients and prospects.

“As asset managers seek to differentiate themselves from the competition, the importance of producing valuable, trustworthy and transparent product information for customers is becoming ever more apparent,” explains Paul Fawsitt, CEO at MoneyMate. “The decision to re-name our solution was a strategic one – as the buy-side evolves, our core solution is truly a master of fund data and we believe the name Fund ProductMaster better captures the essence of our value proposition.”

MoneyMate Fund ProductMaster introduces a number of important enhancements for the buy-side industry incorporated in the new modules:

– fund: Query, a web application to enable direct access to the Master Data Store for real-time online query. Offering drill-down access to reliable and clean sources of product information, fund: Query ensures that firms can respond to client queries quickly and accurately. Permission-based querying means user hierarchies can be established with clear definitions of who can access the data – fund: Editor allows clients to visually manage and edit the static data elements in their Product Master within a secure controlled environment. This tool can be deployed directly on the product master data store whereby editing of funds, share classes or reference data happen directly onto the master data set, ensuring that all static and dynamic data can now be stored in one location and is always accurate and consistent

“As the industry is still trying to recover from the financial turmoil, global asset managers are looking to increase data stability and position themselves for future growth. Faced with increasing demands for firms to oversee and control the quality, asset managers are in need of better accuracy and timeliness of their client-facing product data,” comments Mr. Fawsitt. “While users of our platform have always been sure of the accuracy, security and timeliness of their data, this upgrade allows our clients to use the platform in a variety of ways, always ensuring that accurate and consistent product information can be taken to market in a timely manner.”
