Fiserv has appointed ex-Bank of America executive Lance Drummond as its new executive vice president in charge of strategic growth initiatives in areas including data analytics, consulting and wealth management. He will report to Jeffery Yabuki, president and CEO of the recently rebranded vendor.

Drummond joins Fiserv after more than six years at Bank of America where he most recently led the online bank and ATM operations. Prior to this, he was the service and fulfilment operations executive for Global Technology and Operations. Drummond initially led supply chain management when he joined Bank of America in 2002.

Before joining Bank of America, he was with Eastman Kodak for 26 years in a variety of technology and leadership positions.

Yabuki explains that data services will be a key focus for the vendor over the next few years and he hopes Drummond will be able to lend his experience to the mix. “The significant data focused opportunities across Fiserv will form the basis of our next generation financial services products and technology,” he explains.
