Tony Kirby, former head of Reuters’ global straight-through-processing (STP) strategy, and driving force behind the Reference Data Users Group, has resurfaced at Deutsche Borse, as head of the STP Design unit.

In his new position, Kirby will be responsible for the design, specification and implementation of the exchange’s projects concerning STP, as well as overseeing such areas as OTC derivatives, reference data, collateral management, compliance, risk management and connectivity. He will report to Martin Reck, who was appointed managing director of the group functionality unit this year. Both positions were created as part of Deutsche Borse management restructuring, which came into effect at the beginning of this year.
