Unnamed European Bank Selects PolarLake for Data Integration Project

Subscribe to our newsletter

The capital markets division of an unnamed European bank has selected reference data distribution solution vendor PolarLake to lead its data integration project. According to John Randles, CEO of the vendor, the project will involve the integration of multiple data streams and data types including trade, position, pricing and reference data into a group-wide financial data warehouse.

Randles reckons PolarLake was selected instead of the other extract, transform and load (ETL) solution vendor that was in the running because of its scalability and technology offering. “The approach of the traditional ETL vendors of code centric line mappers just does not scale to the level of complexity involved when you have thousands of attributes with complex relationships in structured derivative products,” he adds.
