StatPro Group Signs Deal to Use GFI’s FX Options Data for Pricing and Risk Management

Subscribe to our newsletter

StatPro Group has signed a multi-year licence with GFI Group to use GFI’s FX options data in its pricing and risk management services. Dario Cintioli, CEO of Italy and global head of risk at StatPro, explains that the vendor selected GFI due to its standing in the market as an interdealer broker.

Philip Winstone, global head of data sales at GFI, unsurprisingly reckons the firm’s offering is compelling enough for most firms: “GFI’s FX options market data service comprises full volatility points using prices from our ForexMatch electronic trading platform and an options volatility application developed in-house for our own brokers. It therefore provides the price points to enable accurate pricing and revaluation of FX options positions.”
