PaceMetrics Appoints Senior Consultant to Drive Buy Side Growth

PaceMetrics, a global provider of process driven enterprise data management solutions, today announced the appointment of Dick Severs as senior consultant. Severs will manage PaceMetrics’ enterprise data management (EDM) product development and solution offerings for buy side institutions. He will also be responsible for expanding PaceMetrics’ buy side client base globally and will be based in PaceMetrics’ Amsterdam office, where he will report directly to CEO, Gerry Giblin.

Severs brings specialist financial services knowledge to his position at PaceMetrics from his previous experience as senior analyst at ING Investment Management, where he was a senior valuation and pricing analyst. In this role he was involved in valuation control projects, outsourced fund administration and development of ING’s European pricing framework.

Commenting on his new position, Severs said: “PaceMetrics brings a fresh, process-led approach to the EDM market and I see tremendous opportunity for such a solution on the buy side. The need to demonstrate best practice and best execution to investors, regulators and auditors requires more accurate and integrated data management. I’m looking forward to being part of a strong team that can address this effectively for buy side institutions and ultimately support their drive to increase assets under administration.”

Gerry Giblin, CEO of PaceMetrics, added: “With increasing appetite for more complex financial products and faster valuation publication times, buy side firms need higher quality, real-time data. We see Severs’ appointment as part of our wider strategy to strengthen our EDM offering for this market and support our growth plans. We are confident that he will add a great deal of value to our business and are delighted to welcome him onboard.”
