Equipos, a global client communications software provider, today announced that one of Canada’s largest asset managers has appointed Equipos to deploy a fully integrated and automated client reporting system throughout the company’s institutional operation by September 2011.

Under terms of the agreement Equipos will automate the acquisition of client portfolio data from the client’s core systems and use this data to generate a variety of visually appealing reports. These reports can be distributed via multiple channels and also stored in a secure archive.

The Equipos Coric client communications suite is an end-to-end client reporting solution, controlled by business users via a range of easy-to-use dashboards and automated workflow tools. Client services teams can respond quickly and efficiently to constantly changing reporting requirements, with little or no recourse to technical staff. Coric generates premium quality reports, incorporating customised data and formats, as well as personalised commentaries that can be viewed, edited or inserted as required.

Mike Hendy, Equipos regional manager, North America commented: “The deployment of Coric is a strategic development for this client and it demonstrates their commitment to deliver high quality, accurate and timely investment reports to new and existing clients, as well as their ongoing drive to manage costs, maximise value and minimise operational risk. We are delighted that they selected Equipos based on the breadth Coric’s functionality, and its unparalleled performance and scalability, as well as our proven track record in international markets.”

Alan Hamilton, CEO, commented: “We are proud to welcome this major Canadian organisation into our rapidly-growing base of North American clients. This is a perfect example of a leading international asset management business looking to achieve excellence in client services and significant operational savings. Equipos Coric is uniquely positioned to deliver these benefits, through the application of industry knowledge, experience and next generation technology.”
