ITRS Group has partnered Velocimetrics to give users of its ITRS Geneos real-time monitoring solution the ability to independently trace and analyse the real-time performance of every trade as it is processed and improve operational resilience.

The need for improved resilience was raised earlier this month in a joint discussion paper from the FCA, PRA and Bank of England that calls on firms to develop contingency plans to prevent, respond to, recover and learn from operational disruption.

Mark Loader, director of product management, marketing and partners at ITRS, says: “With operational resilience on the regulatory agenda, we are using our experience to build, buy and partner to offer customers the best solutions to achieve operational excellence. Our purchase of Sumerian and partnerships with Apica and Velocimetrics are delivering on our strategy to meet customer needs for automation, cloud and machine learning that can help prevent technology outages and reduce costs.”
