Interactive Data Appoints Reference Data Expert Sey to Head Strategy for UK Managed Solutions Business

Interactive Data Corporation has appointed current reference data business manager for Europe Nat Sey to the position of general manager of its Managed Solutions business in the UK. In this position, he will be responsible for managing the financial performance and strategic direction of the division.

Reporting to Carsten Dirks, managing director, Interactive Data Managed Solutions, Sey will continue to be based in London and work with other parts of the business in continental Europe and the US, to identify market opportunities.

Sey says: “More and more firms are embracing the benefits to be had from moving applications from the local deployment model to the internet ‘cloud’. Interactive Data Managed Solutions is capitalising on some of the latest web services technology and taking a fresh approach to tackling real business problems.”

As reference data business manager for Europe, Sey helped raise the profile of Interactive Data’s reference data capabilities through building relationships with industry trade bodies, working groups and software vendors. During this time, Sey and his team were also responsible for engaging Interactive Data in the world of data standards and the delivery of its reference data services via the Swift network.
