IHS Markit Partners with Itiviti in Buy-Side Trading and Connectivity Initiative

Subscribe to our newsletter

IHS Markit will be working in a strategic partnership with Itiviti to deliver a new service to administer FIX connectivity, to enhance the managed service version of thinkFolio, an order and portfolio management solution (OMS/PMS) from IHS Markit, and to respond to the rising demand for cloud-based investment management platforms.

Combined, the Itiviti’s NYFIX connectivity capability and HIS Markit’s thinkFolio platform will offer asset managers a hosted OMS and trading connectivity solution, offering reduced costs and greater flexibility. As part of the thinkFolio managed service, IHS Markit hosts the thinkFolio software in the cloud, manages upgrades and real-time feeds, and executes overnight data loads and start-of-day processes.

According to Spiros Giannaros, global head of thinkFolio and EDM at IHS Markit, “We are combining the robust NYFIX trading hub with our technology expertise to offer a fully managed service that facilitates direct, reliable communication between our buy-side customers and their brokers. Working with Itiviti and other premium partners is part of how we are enhancing our thinkFolio managed service offering and responding to growing buy-side demand for comprehensive, cloud-based investment management platforms.”
