In a bid to move closer to standardization and greater automation of corporate actions data, Financial Technologies International is utilizing technology from financial messaging provider Volante Technologies. The technology will initially incorporate Volante’s message modelling solution into FTI’s StreetActions corporate actions service enabling it to utilize the Swift network – in particular the Swift message types MT564 and MT565 – and in preparation for the launch of ISO 15022-compliant services. FTI plans to extend the solution to a variety of FTI’s StreetEnterprise modules to accommodate other messaging and transaction processing standards that Volante’s data integration software platform supports, such as FIX, Omgeo, CMS and others.
