Exchange Data International (EDI), specialist in the aggregation of reference and corporate actions data, has integrated structured products into its Worldwide Corporate Actions database. This is the latest addition made by EDI to its services since electing to go head to head with London Stock Exchange by sourcing its own corporate actions data.

Jonathan Bloch, CEO and founder of Exchange Data International, says: “We have responded to our clients’ demands for us to include structured products in our coverage. EDI has worked closely with a consultancy team to understand their special characteristics and unique corporate actions of these instruments. Our corporate actions service now offers comprehensive coverage of all worldwide equity instruments. ”

The popularity of structured products varies according to individual financial markets. Thus far EDI has integrated the following instruments into its database: Close Ended Funds, Investment/Income Trusts or Listed Investment Companies, Exchange Traded Funds, Principal Protected Notes, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Split Capital Trust or Split Share Corporation and Stapled Securities.
