DPC Data Supports Perfect Information’s US Business

Perfect Information and DPC Data have formed a partnership to provide enhanced support and services for Perfect Information customers in the US via DPC’s data-related outsourcing services, following a soft launch of its Perfect Search product.

Perfect Information, provider of corporate data for investors tracking equity and bond information, as well as corporate updates, is currently testing Perfect Search, which now provides global and US financial data for finan-cial and legal markets, with a few of its major clients before going public with the offering. The partnership with DPC has been formed in anticipation of a growing client base for the new service.

DPC Data is a provider of data-related outsourcing services, as well as a publisher of municipal securities reference data and disclosure documents, making it the obvious choice for a partner, according to Perfect Information. The two companies have worked alongside each other in similar sectors for the past seven to eight years and they have similar client bases and provide complementary services, it says.

“Our partnership with DPC enables a broader penetration into the US market. Our clients will benefit from the advanced level of customer service that this partnership brings, allowing for the development of stronger client relationships,” adds Greg Simidian, managing director, Perfect Information.

Michael Ruvo, president of DPC Data, says: “Our strength from Perfect Information’s perspective was our presence in the US and the similarity of our business. We can provide service to their customers here, and assist them with business development. We also have similar company cultures, so it was a very smooth transition for our team to be able to learn about the Perfect Information offering and understand the level of customer service and support that would be required for its customers.”

DPC Data’s staff in Fort Lee, NJ, coordinates with Perfect Information’s London and Hong Kong operations to provide continual help desk support and customer service. DPC Data also provides on-site training for Perfect Information customers in North America for the full range of disclosure, analysis, forecasting and market data products offered by Perfect Information.
Late last year DPC Data forged an alliance with retail fixed income trading platform provider BondDesk, under which BondDesk distributes DPC’s MuniPOINTS data service (Reference Data Review, December 2006).
