Cicada has upgraded the validation rules management capabilities of its reference data management platform, adding a graphical user interface allowing users to create, modify, delete or add business rules to data sources, both internal and external. The upgrade also adds a rights system for security, permissioning and modifying existing business rules. Finally, a new rules repository for managing the application of business rules has been developed for Cicada by Idiom Ltd. The upgrades are available to clients of both the in-house version of Cicada’s Composer Plus+ platform and its outsourced reference data management service.
