Carole Mahoney has joined the sales team of data management technology firm Cicada in London. Mahoney joins from Soliton, where she was director of UK sales. Prior to that, she was with Reuters for 12 years in various sales marketing and product management roles. At Cicada, Mahoney will become vice president of European Sales reporting to Bruce Schachne, who has been promoted to the role of vice president of global sales from his Americas sales role. Schachne’s new expanded role includes managing Cicada’s sales teams and driving business development and sales strategy globally.
Ketan ‘KP’ Bhimani, formerly EMEA sales manager in London, will now focus on Cicada’s Know Your Customer (KYC) solutions offerings. Richard Bennett, previously driving the EMEA business development group will be moving to a new role at an as yet unnamed Cicada alliance company. Unconfirmed rumours suggest this may be Cicada’s risk alliance with Algorithmics, a company that Bennett previously worked with.
