Sterling Launches STRIDER for 24-Hour Web and Mobile Trading

Sterling Trading Tech has launched STRIDER, an AI-driven web and mobile trading platform designed to support increasingly global and extended-hours trading.

The platform provides 24/7 access to US equities and options trading through browsers and mobile devices, covering workflows ranging from straightforward equity execution to complex options strategies. It is interoperable with Sterling’s desktop environment and integrated with its OMS 360 platform.

STRIDER incorporates AI capabilities within Sterling’s back-end infrastructure, which the company says will support scalability, responsiveness and optimisation of the trading experience as markets move towards longer operating hours.

The device-agnostic platform combines execution functionality with real-time market information, charting and analytics. Its integration with OMS 360 also gives traders real-time visibility into portfolio margin, P&L, buying power and risk, allowing positions and trading activity to be managed consistently across desktop, web and mobile environments.
