Tullett Prebon Information (TPI), the data subsidiary of Tullett Prebon, has signed a multi year agreement with Koscom Corporation, a Korean provider of specialised IT financial services, under which TPI will supply Koscom with a range of money market and interest rate data.

Koscom, which is the software supplier and distribution channel for the Korean Exchange, will receive market data including spot and forward FX, non-deliverable forwards, FX options, interest rate swaps and cross-currency swaps for the local Korean and international markets. This information will be made available to Koscom’s client base via its financial information terminal service, CheckExpert.

TPI works with financial institutions and service providers for the provision of independent OTC fixed income and derivative pricing. This distribution agreement with Koscom is part of the vendor’s plans to expand its offering in the Asia Pacific financial markets. It is the latest in a series of similar agreements concluded in India, China, Japan and Indonesia, most recently the multi-year agreement with Shanghai Wind Info.

Frank Desmond, head of Europe and Asia at TPI, says: “Increasing our footprint in the Asia Pacific region is a major focus for Tullett Prebon’s information business and we hope to continue building on our successes in this area.”
