TMX Datalinx, Toronto-based TMX Group’s information services division, has opened an ESG data hub designed to support global clients’ integrating ESG in investment decision-making processes.

As well as providing TMX Datalinx real-time and historical data, the TMX ESG Data Hub provides data from external sources including OWL, a fintech transforming how ESG data is gathered, analysed, researched, and applied, and offering ESG consensus scores, and transparent ESG data. MT Newswires provides real-time, ESG-focused financial news services; GIST social and environmental impacts and analytics, environmental metrics, diversity, equity and inclusion data, and SDG data; and Irate ESG ratings, ESG impact ratings, and climate impact data.

TMX Datalinx says the data hub is a response to client demand and growing investor need for a range of high quality ESG data to support portfolio construction, enhanced investment strategies and investment risk management processes. Michelle Tran, president of the company adds: “We will continue to look at ways to deliver new content and innovative analytics and indices to support our clients’ ESG investment needs.”
