Tom Dalglish has moved on from iGate Global Solutions to join SmartStream Technologies, where he takes the title of head of transformation services. In this role, Dalglish will use his reference data management expertise to manage transformation projects for post-trade processing and data management services for global clients. His initial responsibility will be to manage a back-office transformation programme at one of Europe’s largest banks.

Prior to joining SmartStream, which is playing a leading role in the development of data utilities that mutualise common processes but maintain individual client controls, Dalglish was the global head of transformation at iGate Global Solutions, where he designed and deployed a data utility strategy. He was previously chief technology officer for global data services at UBS and has held senior management positions and led enterprise reference data initiatives at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.

Commenting on his new role at SmartStream, Dalglish says: “I am looking forward to working at SmartStream where they take R&D, team work and client success seriously. At SmartStream, the focus is on getting the job done effectively and quickly. With a dedicated team and specific strategy for delivering the data utility, SmartStream is in an unmatched position to deliver huge savings to it clients, as well as better quality data and coverage.”
