Telekurs Financial Unveils New Fair Value Service for Illiquid Bonds

Subscribe to our newsletter

Telekurs Financial has launched a new Fair Value Service for valuing illiquid bonds. The engine-driven evaluation service complements the evaluated pricing data Telekurs Financial takes in from partners such as Mergent, FRI, Bear Stearns and Standard & Poor’s, and has been developed by the vendor to meet a perceived growing demand for illiquid bond pricing. Telekurs Fair Value Service calculations are made systematically on a universe of illiquid bonds denominated in five currencies – euro, Sterling, Swiss Franc, Yen and US dollar. The vendor believes its service is differentiated in the marketplace by the degree of transparency it provides around its methodology – enabling independent validation – and by the frequency of price delivery – currently four times a day. Fair Value Service calculations are available through Telekurs Financial’s display products or as a structured data feed.
