Sit Investment Associates, a large US-based independent, family and minority-owned investment firm, has selected Rimes’ Matrix investment management platform as part of a firm-wide modernisation program. The selection follows recent and similar agreements made by Rimes with Pzena Investment Management, an investment manager based in New York City; Boston Partners, a provider of equity strategies; and Redwheel, an active investment manager.

At Sit Investment Associates, which carried out a rigorous solution selection process, Mark Madden, manager of client administration, says: “We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve, and so far, Rimes has demonstrated flexibility, expertise, and a refreshing approach to our future shared success. Together, we are at the start of an exciting journey that I believe will deliver tangible benefits to our clients, the Sit Investment team and the people at Rimes.”

Stuart Plane, who joined Rimes through the company’s 2021 acquisition of Matrix IDM, a Sydney, Australia-based provider of a cloud native investment data management platform, and is now chief revenue officer at Rimes, comments: “The proven Matrix investment management platform provides exceptional data management underpinned by seamless integration and automation capabilities, which Sit Investment Associates were seeking. We look forward to cementing a mutually fruitful and lasting relationship with this collaborative and focused firm.”
