ValueLink Information Services, the supplier of validated financial data solutions, has announced a major new client win. Following a comprehensive period of analysis, Sharefunds Limited, (part of the Share plc group) selected ValueLink’s Price Validation and Corporate Actions service for their mid-day valuations.

ValueLink provides Sharefunds with global pricing data across all instrument types. They will deliver five (5) daily bespoke reports alongside the validated mid-day pricing files. ValueLink tailored their service to include corporate actions from Sharefunds’ vendor of choice to offer them a complete solution. For Sharefunds this consolidates the data collection and validation process, saving time and resources. This client-focused service demonstrates ValueLink’s flexibility in accommodating individual needs and simplifying the entire data collection and validation process.

Stephen Choate, CEO at ValueLink, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sharefunds as a new client. We have worked with them for some months in order to deliver a solution, which met their specific requirements. We are particularly pleased to have developed with them a tailored data collection structure incorporating the specific corporate actions vendor they requested in a relatively short period of time. This is another example of ValueLink’s rapid IT development capacity and of our teams’ unique ability to provide clients with bespoke solutions to match their demanding requirements.”

Steve Wyatt, chief operating officer at Sharefunds, replied: “In our business we recognise the importance of robust and reliable pricing data. We chose ValueLink because of their stringent validation procedures and their experience in providing the service we need to take our business forward. Their flexible service enabled us to specify our bespoke requirements to collect and collate pricing data and adding industry-leading corporate actions data from our vendor of choice into the service brings us further significant advantages. The introduction of ValueLink has helped streamline our operational procedures by removing time consuming collection and validation of data from multiple sources which ValueLink now do on our behalf.”
