Markit Appoints Kansler as Global Head of Corporate, Government and Legal Affairs

Markit has added Adam Kansler to its executive team as an executive vice president, global head of corporate, government and legal affairs and the company’s general counsel. In this role, he will work on corporate strategy, legal and compliance matters, in addition to leading regulatory and government affairs.

Kansler joins Markit after 16 years at Proskauer Rose, a New York-based law firm, where he was a partner in the corporate department, focused on private equity and the financial services industry.
