Trading Technologies International (TT), a leading provider of order-entry software and solutions for professional derivatives traders, and FOW TRADEdata, a specialist data aggregator and distributor of reference data for exchange traded derivatives, are pleased to announce that FOW TRADEdata has been named a TT Connected Partner. FOW TRADEdata’s Xymbology service ensures clean symbol mapping of trade data between TT’s software and various integrated back-office and order-management vendor codes.

“We are pleased to recognize FOW TRADEdata as a TT Connected Partner,” said Dan Mourning, Director of the TT Connected Partner Program. “We’ve seen customers and vendors alike spend a lot of time and resources mapping exchange codes to third-party vendor codes. The Xymbology service provides a cost-effective solution allowing customers and vendors to share the cost of maintaining an accurate vendor code mapping file.”

FOW TRADEdata’s Mark Woolfenden, Managing Director, said, “The addition of Trading Technologies’ product identifiers to the Xymbology suite will realize significant improvements in trade processing for TT’s clients and once more demonstrates the benefits that a collaborative product like Xymbology can provide for all market participants. The market often talks about collaboration so I am pleased that this project delivers on that high expectation.”

Gregg Whitbread, Product Manager for Xymbology, said, “We are delighted to partner with Trading Technologies in this initiative which further extends the Xymbology product offering and will provide firms with the cross-reference required to translate between TT symbols and other symbology used in the market at the appropriate points throughout the trade life cycle.”
