FISD Ousts Atkin, Installs Nasdaq’s Davin

The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named Tom Davin, formerly of Nasdaq, as acting head, following the dismissal of long-time director Mike Atkin, who left last month after a bust-up with SIIA chief Ken Wasch. Davin left Nasdaq after his role was taken by an incoming Brut executive. The FISD oversees the Reference Data Coalition (Redoc) and MDDL standards work.
