This expanded access is in addition to access on personal computers, as well as on handheld wireless devices.

FactSet Connect uses advanced application streaming technology to let users securely access FactSet through a web browser and lightweight, on-demand plugin. “Any time a user wants to log on, an e-mail with a one-time passcode is sent,” explains Jason Dennis, director, FactSet Core Technologies. “This level of security ensures that FactSet can be used from any personal or public machine safely and securely.”

FactSet Connect complements the workflow of busy financial professionals who need to check on portfolio performance, research, news, and economic events while travelling or outside the office. Data and analytics delivered through FactSet Connect can be easily saved to a local directory or printed, allowing for complete remote functionality of the latest information.

“We are committed to providing our clients with the services they need, wherever they are,” explains Michael Frankenfield, executive vice president, FactSet Global Sales. “FactSet Connect gives users the flexibility to access their data and analytics everywhere, so they can manage their research and workflow on their own terms.”
