Derivix, a financial services software company that provides options pricing and analytics solutions, has appointed John Demitroff as managing director, head of sales. He will work in the vendor’s new NYC offices and has more than 20 years of experience in experience in sales and executive leadership in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Derivix, Demitroff worked for 10 years at Tradeweb and worked as part of the initial launch team. Most recently, he was a managing director at Tradeweb, working to create and deliver sales strategy in its derivatives business. Before he joined Tradeweb in 1998, Demitroff spent 10 years in institutional sales on Wall Street.

“Derivix has already proven itself as the new standard in the options pricing and analytics space by working with the industry’s most demanding options traders and world class partners such as Goldman Sachs and Susquehanna,” said Demitroff. “By combining my experience in high growth financial services sales with Derivix’s industry expertise, we expect to make a major impact for professionals who look to maximise their options trading profits.”
