Buy side focused consultancy firm Investment Solutions Consultants (ISC) has hired data vendor veteran Paul Lumsden as a management consultant. Lumsden most recently worked as head of product management for client communications solution provider Kurtosys Systems, which earlier this year launched a new EDM platform for the asset management community.
Geoff Edwards, ISC managing partner, indicates that he hired Lumsden due to his “wide range of product knowledge and consulting skills”, which he will put to use in developing ISC’s brand and value proposition for the UK and international investment management community.
Lumsden worked as director of product management and marketing at FundWorks and then head of product management of Kurtosys Systems, which acquired FundWorks, for a combined total of around four and a half years. Prior to this he was briefly a sales and marketing manager at EDM solution vendor Cadis and also worked for four years in business development and pre-sales for Eagle Investment Systems.
