Broadridge Supports International Expansion with New Appointments

Broadridge Financial Solutions today announced new appointments and a relocation in line with both its growing international strategy and its increased presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Julie Kerr has joined Broadridge in the role of senior sales executive, responsible for sales in Hong Kong and Singapore. Shehas over 19 years’ experience in sales and relationship management within the financial services industry, spanning both technology and market data solutions throughout Europe, the US and Asia on both the sell and buy sides of the market. She started her career at MSCI Barra, in Edinburgh, Scotland, then later moved to Omgeo in London and Hong Kong, and most recently worked with Middle Office Solutions. She reports to David Birch, managing director, Sales, Asia Pacific, Broadridge.

In his role as global head of pre-sales, Securities Processing Solutions, International, David Westbrook has transferred to Hong Kong as a result of Broadridge’s growing demand in the Asia Pacific region. He has been in the financial sector for 24 years. He joined Broadridge in 1997 to work on various implementations of its market-leading securities processing solution, Gloss, and has subsequently managed Broadridge’s international business analysis team. He started his career with Phillips & Drew stockbrokers then followed on to The London Bond Broking Company as settlements manager. He reports to Mark Gidley, head of Institutional & Retail Services, Securities Processing Solutions, International, Broadridge.

Paul Clark has been promoted to the position of senior product manager for Broadridge’s Gloss platform. He has been in the finance industry for 24 years and brings both knowledge and experience of the operational needs of Broadridge’s growing client base. Before joining Broadridge in the mid-1990s, he worked for tier-1 institutions such as Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank in operational management roles. Paul has substantial experience with Gloss from the perspective of both client deployments and Broadridge-driven R&D projects. He reports to Robin Kneale, head of strategy, Securities Processing Solutions, International, Broadridge.

“In line with our business expansion programme, it is important that we invest in the expansion of our global talent pool,” said Tom Carey, president, Securities Processing Solutions, International, Broadridge. “In particular we continue to witness unprecedented demand in Asia which has resulted in both new hires and a rebalancing of our global resources in the region.”
