The ASX Group (ASX) has selected GoldenSource EDM to upgrade and replace its current corporate data management system known as CORE. The new platform will serve as the most comprehensive repository of historical data as well as the essential link for equity trading and settlement processes at ASX. With a centralized, trusted copy of company, securities, and trading data, GoldenSource EDM will enable ASX to more flexibly process complex product sets and corporate action events, reduce time to market for launching new products, and ensure consistency of timely data delivered across the Group’s exchange activities.

“To support and sustain the recent growth in product development, listing, and trading instruments, ASX identified enterprise data management as a key strategic operational enabler,” says Jeff Olsson, Group Executive, Technology at ASX. “After an extensive evaluation process, we selected GoldenSource EDM for its flexibility and enterprise scale to meet the needs of ASX’s growing operations and to enable further innovation in our market.”

“The GoldenSource EDM platform will serve as critical infrastructure to address the business priorities of a distinguished market operator, clearing house and settlement facility,” says Neill Vanlint, MD of EMEA and APAC Client Operations, GoldenSource. “ASX marks our second major customer in Australia. As GoldenSource continues to build momentum in Australia, we believe investment in data management capabilities will deliver additional benefits to the market and financial system.”
