Asset Control has set up a practices group that will provide expert consultancy to new and existing customers with a view to helping them optimise their use of data mastering and data exploration to solve specific business challenges. The group will be led by Gil Leon, a business, technology and strategy expert with a 30-year career in capital markets. He is based in New York and reports to Nathan Wolaver, Asset Control’s managing director of the Americas.

The company says the practices group will scale to meet expanding client requirements, with Leon and his team initially helping clients with in-depth insight into Asset Control’s data management technology and how it can be applied to address market challenges and solve real-world business problems.

Wolaver comments: “From his past roles, Gil has in-depth experience as a buyer of financial data management solutions, and of what is required to optimise the investment and use the software and services to most effectively address business challenges. He understands what keeps chief technology officers and business users awake at night and what is driving them to seek closer relationships with solution providers. He is ideally suited to drive the new practices group forward.”
