A-Team Group Announces AI in Capital Markets Awards 2026 Winners

As artificial intelligence dominates conversations among the decisions makers of the world’s financial institutions, A-Team Group has recognised the vendors that are enabling those firms to transform their operations with the most cutting edge of technologies.

In its second annual AI in Capital Markets Awards, the group celebrates the technology suppliers in this fast-growing sector with awards that shine a spotlight on the high quality of the products and services they have developed and introduced over the past year.

Over those 12 months the world saw a spectacular acceleration in AI adoption among financial firms as associated technologies such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors and agentic processing became more widespread.

It also saw the range of companies offering first-class AI services flourish across Data Management, Trading & Market Analytics, Regulatory Compliance & RegTech, and Infrastructure & Governance.

Further, there was a mushrooming of debate over the practical and philosophical impacts of AI, with concepts such as AI traceability, data quality and, of course, the limits of human oversight all being mulled over.

Measurable Impact

In categories that include Best AI Solution for Historical Data Analysis, Best AI Solution for Regulatory Horizon Scanning and Best AI-Enabled App for Capital Markets, A-Team Group’s awards seek to bring deserved attention to the technology providers that are making a measurable impact on the operations of capital markets participants.

A-Team Group also named Nirav Shah, Senior Executive Director & Global Head of Fundamental Research Technology, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, as the recipient of its Editor’s Recognition Award for AI Professional of the Year.

Group President and Chief Content Officer Andrew Delaney extended his congratulations to the individuals and companies recognised with awards in this year’s competition. By driving accuracy, accelerating workflows, and strengthening risk frameworks, these technologies are setting a new standard for modern financial institutions, he said.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to every organisation that participated,” said Delaney. “Given the exceptionally high calibre and technical sophistication of this year’s submissions, evaluating the entries was a rewarding yet demanding task for our editorial team and independent Advisory Board.

“Warmest congratulations to all of our 2026 award winners.”

The full list of winners can be found in the AI in Capital Markets 2026 Report, which you can download here.

Award winners were selected by A-Team Group’s independent and expert advisory board, which works closely with its editorial team to select this year’s outstanding awardees.

Recorded Webinar: The Buy-side Trading Desk of the Future

The buy-side trading desk is facing a structural reckoning. Decades of siloed systems for equities, FX and fixed income have created what COOs increasingly describe as a “silo tax” – duplicated headcount, fragmented data, and operational overhead that is harder to justify now that the underlying workflows have, in functional terms, converged. Thirty years of...

Is Speed No Longer the Hard Part in Trading Infrastructure?

A panel of high-performance trading infrastructure architects, convened at A-Team Group’s recent TradingTech Summit New York to discuss the blueprint for speed, spent remarkably little of its time talking about speed. The tick-to-trade race still runs, and firms still shave nanoseconds where a strategy justifies it, but raw latency is the part this end of...

Regulatory Data Handbook 2026 – Fourteenth Edition

Welcome to the fourteenth edition of A-Team Group’s Regulatory Data Handbook. Supervisors increasingly expect firms to demonstrate which rules apply, which data supports each obligation, who owns the control and how exceptions are identified and resolved. Policies and implementation programmes must now be supported by records that can withstand regulatory scrutiny. This edition examines material...
