Analytics software, client reporting and data management solution provider Bi-Sam has appointed ex-Reuters executive Xavier Piquot as its new regional sales manager for continental Europe. The vendor hopes Piquot’s experience within the financial markets and contacts book will allow it to strengthen its presence in the region.
Piquot has been in the financial technology market for more than 20 years and, during that time, has worked for Reuters, Calypso Technologies, Sophis and Goldman Sachs.
Bi-Sam has been ramping up its approach to the European market and, in October last year, the vendor announced a partnership agreement with consultancy firm Altran, aimed at expanding its reach in the Swiss market. The vendor indicated that it would be seeking out new strategic partnerships over the course of this year to improve its traction in various markets.
