Accuity Completes Acquisition of CB.Net

Accuity has completed the acquisition of payments reference data vendor CB.net as part of its efforts to bolster its customer base and extend its offering. Hugh Jones, president of payment routing data vendor Accuity, explains that CB.Net’s existing relationships with the European Payments Council (EPC) and the Euro Banking Association (EBA) were of particular appeal.

Accuity hopes the acquisition will allow it to offer clients a more comprehensive service with regards to data coverage and expand its reach into European markets. “Accuity is now the authoritative source for all global payment data and sets the standard for the industry,” claims Jones.

The combined company’s payments products include the Global Banking Resource, Global Payment File and IBAN File from Accuity and CB.Net’s BankSearchPlus, BroadcastAlert and BroadcastSearch. These products offer a range of payments data including Swift/BICs, active and inactive national clearing codes, standard settlement instructions (SSIs), SEPA credit transfer adherence participants and IBAN routing information.
