Ondo Finance has appointed global financial regulation veteran Allison Parent as its new Chief Policy Officer. Parent brings nearly a decade of experience as the executive director of the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA), alongside prior high-profile roles including global policy lead at Barclays, senior policy adviser at the Bank of England, and general counsel to the US Senate Budget Committee.
In her new role, Parent will lead engagement with regulators and policymakers to establish ross-border standards for on-chain capital markets. Her appointment comes at a time of rapid acceleration for Ondo Finance, which recently saw its tokenised stocks surpass $1 billion in total value locked in less than eight months.
