A-Team Launches Inaugural AI in Data Management Summit New York City

Artificial intelligence-led applications offer financial institutions the potential to do more with their data at a time when increasingly complex economic and geopolitical influences place extraordinary operational pressures on them.

The technology is now being applied to all parts of an organisation, from asset and risk management to customer relationship management and regulatory compliance. A flourishing industry of solutions providers has emerged to feed growing demand for tools that can harness AI for a variety of specific use cases.

And while the pattern of deployment is uneven and the benefits of some applications are still being tested, AI is forcing a fundamental reset of data management.

The importance of AI is such that it has become a prominent topic of discussion at A-Team’s Data Management Summits on both sides of the Atlantic. As a result, and following the success of the 15th Data Management Summit NYC, A-Team Group has announced a new event: AI in Data Management Summit NYC.

The Summit will explore how AI in all its forms is transforming data management for capital markets participants. It will look at how generative and agentic AI are moving from hype to practical application and provide a strategic playbook for data executives to redefine their operating models.

Hosted by A-Team Group in Midtown Manhattan on March 19, the Summit will feature speakers from across the data ecosystem, and will include data chiefs from leading banks, regulators, data vendors and expert advisers.

Panel discussions will focus on key aspects of AI adoption, rollout and implementation.

A C-level panel will examine how chief data officers can achieve buy-in from business leaders and other stakeholders – including overcoming any cultural scepticism – for AI transformation.

Governance is also a hot topic that will be tackled at the inaugural Summit, with a panel exploring approaches to building a framework within which AI applications can work effectively and safely.

A panel will look at how AI can improve data quality and build a new data architecture, while another will take a deep dive into data products and marketplaces.

The Summit will also be enriched by a series of addresses by leading data and market practitioners and will kick off with a keynote that will tackle the biggest issue of the day.

Delegates will also discover how to build autonomous data ecosystems, deploy intelligent data products, and implement proactive AI-driven governance and security.

The Summit will also tackle the critical challenges of GenAI FinOps and cultivating the AI-native data team. Join your peers in capital markets data management and learn practical strategies to future-proof your AI data management strategy.

Among other panel topics to be discussed will be:

  • Beyond the dashboard: AI-powered approaches for proactive data integrity
  • From rulebook to report: applying GenAI to automate regulatory compliance
  • The AI sourcing dilemma: building in-house vs. partnering with a fintech
  • GenAI FinOps: taming unpredictable costs to justify ROI

A-Team Group’s inaugural AI in Data Management Summit New York City will be held on March 19. Click here for details about how to register your attendance. If you are interested in participating at this event as a speaker or delivering a keynote we have sponsorship opportunities for firms keen to showcase their AI initiatives in this space.
