The acquisition closed this month and extends TRG’s scope of spend management capabilities across expense management by adding Screen’s INFOmatch to the company’s FITS solution. The company also offers ResearchMonitor usage tracking and Quest enquiry management.

The combined company will have a global footprint, over 300 customers and more than 100 employees. It will be led by Steve Matthews, CEO at TRG, with the co-founders and joint CEOs of Screen, Peter Fruitema and Kees Brooimans, reporting to him.

Matthews says: “Through this partnership with Screen, TRG will be able to offer an integrated, scaled spend management platform with the ability to address any global enterprise that operates in data-intensive industry verticals anywhere in the world.”

Fruitema and Brooimans, add: “Joining the TRG family will bring new opportunities for customers within the market data and enterprise spend management areas, and offer a combination of scale, domain expertise and global reach that stands out as second to none in our competitive set.”
