Xenomorph Integrates Tableau to Extend Capability of TimeScape EDM+

Xenomorph has extended the capability of its TimeScape EDM+ enterprise data management solution through the integration of Tableau’s business intelligence and visualisation software. The integration is in line with the company’s strategy of adding tools for both data managers and business users to its TimeScape platform and follows the addition of native charting and heatmap capabilities, as well as integration with Microsoft’s Power BI and Aqumin’s AlphaVision visual landscapes.

The Tableau software allows users to generate and export validated data, metadata and analytics from TimeScape EDM+ into Tableau to create visual insight into process management, trading, risk and regulatory compliance. Data managers are expected to use the software to get a better understanding of data quality and operational data processing, while business users can use Tableau and the analytical capabilities of TimeScape EDM+ to make visual investigations of risk and trading opportunities.

Brian Sentance, CEO at Xenomorph, says: “In our view, data management and business intelligence are a natural fit to extract greater value from high quality, auditable and centralised data. Using Tableau, business users can get more out of data management across the front, middle and back office.”

The integration of TimeScape EDM+ with Tableau was made as a result of a Xenomorph client request and is now widely available and gaining traction among other clients. Following Xenomorph’s strategy, Sentance says more capabilities are being added to TimeScape and will be released in coming months.
