Barry Raskin is leaving his role as president of SIX Financial Information USA at the end of this month after nearly 28 years with the company. He joined Telekurs (North America) in 1987 as chief financial officer and became managing director in 1995. In 2008, the SIX Group was formed through the merger of Telekurs, the Swiss Stock Exchange and SIS, and Telekurs became SIX Telekurs. It was then rebranded to SIX Financial Information in 2012.

At SIX Financial Information USA, Raskin has successfully managed an international sales organisation, as well as development, operations, customer service, data collection, financial and HR teams. He has led development of new products, contributed to global corporate strategy and expanded the company’s client base across North and South America.

A highly respected speaker at industry conferences and events, Raskin is a long-standing friend of Reference Data Review and always raises a smile when he expresses his unique opinion that ‘The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese’.
