SunGard Appoints Leslie Barbagallo to Lead Energy and Commodities Business

SunGard has appointed Leslie Barbagallo as the chief operating officer for its Energy and Commodities business, with responsibility for SunGard’s energy trading and risk management (ETRM) solutions, data management and related compliance and consulting solutions.

Ms. Barbagallo has been with SunGard for seven years in a range of management responsibilities for energy, commodities, compliance and equities trading solutions. Prior to SunGard, she was a head of sales and account management for another ETRM provider and chief operating officer for a utility consulting unit of KEMA, where she spent eleven years.

Ms. Barbagallo holds a BA from Harvard and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
