Goebel Joins Fiserv as New CIO

Maryann Goebel has joined Fiserv as executive vice president and chief information officer, reporting to the CEO.

“Maryann’s proven success leading a variety of complex technology environments is a great addition to the aggregate strength of the Fiserv management team,” says Jeffery Yabuki, president and CEO of Fiserv. “Her vast experience as the technology architect for a number of leading companies provides us with a great balance of technology rigor, strategic focus and client focused innovation.”

Goebel joins Fiserv with more than 30 years of progressive technology experience, which includes 15 years as a senior technology officer. Since 2006, she has served as executive vice president and CIO for DHL Express in Bonn, Germany where she managed an organisation of 1,500 employees with responsibility for service delivery in more than 200 countries.

Prior to DHL Express, she held executive positions with a variety of technology organisations including seven years cumulatively with General Motors, where she rose to CIO, North America, and CIO for GM Europe.
