The winners of A-Team Group’s RegTech Awards 2018 have been revealed, with winning solution and service providers named across categories from best data management solution for regulatory compliance to best reference data for regulatory compliance, best trade repository for regulatory disclosure, best vendor solution for data governance, and best compliance as a service solution.

As well as specific product and service categories, awards were presented for the best solutions meeting the requirements of specific regulations including Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – see complete list of categories and winners below.

The awards were presented by Lauren McAughtry, A-Team RegTech editor, at a well-attended ceremony at Brewers’ Hall in the City of London today. McAughtry said: “Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s A-Team Group RegTech Awards. It is a pleasure to present the awards and recognise some of the established vendors and start-ups offering RegTech solutions designed to improve market participants’ regulatory response and provide efficient and effective compliance. The burden of regulation is putting pressure on our industry to change its approach to compliance technology, and it is RegTech that will lead the way.”

This year’s A-Team RegTech awards received a record number of votes and celebrated not only winning vendors of RegTech solutions, but also highly commended providers that came very close in the voting.
