The Realization Group (TRG) announced today that it has selected UnaVista as a preferred partner in the TRG Post Trade Services solutions portfolio.

UnaVista is the London Stock Exchange’s secure hosted platform for all validation, matching and reconciliation needs. UnaVista offers a number of solutions including Post Trade services, Data Solutions and Reconciliations.

TRG have recently launched their Post Trade Services business having witnessed the extent to which the firms must re-evaluate their internal infrastructures as they assess the operational risks and opportunities presented by regulation. With firms operating leaner and more cost conscious structures, TRG work with clients to identify where they are able to improve efficiency, reduce costs and comply with an increasingly complex and onerous regulatory burden.

Kiri Self, managing director TRG Post Trade Services, said: “We have chosen to partner with UnaVista for a number of reasons. Our clients require a scalable platform that can cope with increasing volumes without a lengthy and costly implementation. UnaVista is hosted at the Exchange and therefore needs no local installation, this means it can be implemented very quickly and at a minimal initial and ongoing cost. UnaVista also offers our clients solutions to multiple business processes all on one central platform. Through UnaVista clients will be able to transaction report, confirm and affirm multi-asset trades and CFDs, perform all types of reconciliations and receive high quality reference data. UnaVista is a truly leading edge and flexible technology solution.”

Mark Husler, head of business development at the London Stock Exchange, said: “UnaVista is delighted to be working with TRG Post Trade Services and looks forward to embarking on what we believe will be a mutually beneficial partnership. TRG’s post trade operations, compliance and risk management experience, together with its unique understanding of our business, has led it to identify UnaVista services as the optimal solution for its clients. We look forward to working with TRG to provide the very best software to meet its client’s requirements.”

UnaVista Post-Trade Services includes a Transaction Reporting service that provides clients with additional validation above and beyond the mandatory regulatory requirements, along with instant access to exceptions through dashboards. UnaVista Transaction Reporting can be used across all reportable asset classes and can be reported to multiple regulators across Europe, including FSA, AFM and AMF.

UnaVista Post-Trade Services also supply solutions to automate the matching of CFDs through their Swaps Portal, the matching of confirmations through their Confirmation Portal and all types of reconciliations, providing clients with cost effective automation and improved efficiencies”.
