In her new role, Certoma will be responsible for all aspects of Broadridge’s Brokerage Processing Services business, which includes equity, option and mutual fund securities processing as well as its Business Process Management (BPM) suite and Distributed Data product. She will also assume the responsibility for BPS Client Services, including the organisation of Broadridge’s end-to-end service delivery.

“Susan’s broad business and technology background has proven highly effective in further strengthening and enhancing our client relationships, product offerings, and strategic technology plans over the past year,” said Charlie Marchesani, president, Securities Processing Solutions, Broadridge. “She has consistently demonstrated the leadership and client-centric qualities that will enable us to grow our business, and I wish her every success.”

Certoma has been with Broadridge since July 2009, when she joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer of BPS. In that role she oversaw the overall technology and product development strategies including new platform and product innovation and key customer relationships.

Certoma came to Broadridge from Wachovia, where she served as chief information officer of the Corporate & Investment Bank. Prior to Wachovia, she held technology and operations positions with Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Ernst & Young, First Boston and Royal Bank of Canada.
