Stop Press: Palmieri Parts Company with Bloomberg

Roseann Palmieri, poached two years ago from Thomson Reuters to launch Bloomberg’s enterprise data management business and a prime-mover in the latter’s acquisition of PolarLake, has left the firm.

In a statement, Bloomberg confirmed her departure, saying “Roseann Palmieri has left Bloomberg. She joined the company to build the EDM business, and she accomplished that goal. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

Palmieri’s split with Bloomberg comes eight months or so after that of former Thomson Reuters London colleague Sally Hinds, who also made the move bolster Bloomberg’s EDM business a year ago. Hinds resigned last summer, and is now principal at Data Management Consultancy Services along with former head of market reference data at RBS Lorraine Waters.

Palmieri’s immediate plans are not known.
