SIX Telekurs Launches New On-Demand Services for the Rapid Delivery of High Quality Data

SIX Telekurs has released new delivery services for the most up-to-date financial information from its comprehensive securities database, Valordata Feed. These innovations meet growing market needs for on-demand prices, reference data and corporate actions.

VDF Pulse delivers push-delta updates of reference data and time-critical corporate actions every 15 minutes. These intervals reduce manual entry work for new instruments and speed up data processing. VDF Flash provides the most rapid delivery of new instrument data. In just seconds, a new instrument can be captured in a user’s database and is ready for trading, clearing and settlement.

The data is automatically processed and easily integrated into a user’s system to facilitate fast online banking support with consistent data across the front, middle and back offices. VDF, SIX Telekurs’ flagship product, is a fully structured and encoded data feed with information on nearly 8 million financial instruments from worldwide data sources.

“With these on-demand services, SIX Telekurs is on the forefront of providing rapid high quality data,” said Ivo Bieri, Head of Product Management & Marketing at SIX Telekurs. “SIX Telekurs continously tracks market developments and anticipates future industry needs. VDF Pulse and VDF Flash meet the increasing demand for faster data delivery and ensure that our customers can make critical decisions based on the most up-to-date financial information.”

SIX Telekurs will present these innovations in the event series “VDF and Transparency” held this autumn in various cities, starting with Zurich on 6 October.
